In Finance:

  • Reduced outstanding receivables from a lag of three to six months for payment, to prompt payment within 30-45 days, by creating new procedures for regular invoicing and collections.
  • Improved cash flow and freed up capital by developing a lease option agreement for upgrade of both computer equipment and services, permitting payment over the lease period versus making a one-time expenditure.
  • Realized a 32% monthly savings by performing critical evaluation of phone expenditures.

In Administration:

  • Increased profits of client significantly by taking on the operation of all non-billable activities.
  • Restructured all commercial and employee benefit contracts to provide a higher level of insurance and additional coverage for the same cost.
  • Project-led a strategic technology initiative focused on upgrading equipment, providing better service to employees, and creating a sustainable disaster-recovery program.

In Human Resources:

  • Formalized all human resources policies and procedures, by conducting a complete compliance review and developing and rolling out an employee handbook.
  • Created more protective standardized employee-required paperwork, and implemented improved hiring and termination strategies.
  • Implemented an employee assistance program and identified the appropriate vendor.
  • Reduced workers' compensation insurance plan premium by 33 percent.
  • Kept health insurance costs flat by modifying deductibles and co-pays, and offsetting impact to employees by instituting a Flexible Spending Plan.
